Bidra med feedbackThe location in Sugar Land has been permanently closed. This sign has been posted on the door. Sad.
Not impressed The place has no signs or anyone to tell you not to be seated but to go to counter and order your food and then find a seat Would have been nice to have a sign saying order food this way. When you walk in the dinning area is directly in front of you. I saw a group sit there for several minutes before they realized they had to go order at counter. I guess if it was budy you would see a line to get in. I had a bacon burger and the bacon and the burger were overdone. There was no flavor at all. Not worth going out of your way to visit at least not for a burger. My wife did have a taco salad and she said it was great. I will say the service was fast and the staff were very pleasant to deal with Maybe worth a try but don't get the burger
Dad wanted a burger, and I had an entertainment book coupon $8 off an entree with entree purchase), so I chose this spot. I decided on the breakfast buffet since it looked like a variety of mostly Tex-Mex items. There were cinnamon rolls, pancakes, biscuits, and gravy, but there were also eggs, migas, chorizo eggs, refried beans, potatoes, pork tamales, sausage, bacon, tortillas, an omelette station, and a drink chose orange juice). I did not take advantage of the omelette station, but I did ask for flour tortillas since the corn tortillas were a bit ripped and looked cold. Hot flour tortillas were delivered to my table about 5 minutes later, and I think they were homemade. They were really good! Overall the buffet was decent. The refried beans were good, but a couple of the tamales were burned on the side. The migas and chorizo eggs also tasty. The potatoes were seasoned well. I know $15 may seem like a lot of money for breakfast, but it is a buffet. I believe the buffet closes about noon or 12:30PM even though the sign says breakfast is served until 2PM. I would clarify the ending time prior to purchasing. Dad said his burger was good, but he thinks the meat is pre-cooked prior to serving, like fast food joints. [For the record, he used to own a restaurant. We were not asked about rarity preference, so I would not be surprised if this was the case. The fries are definitely pre-frozen/pre-bought, and they did not look that great. Mom ordered a beef taco, and it was pretty big, served with chips and salsa. She doesn't eat much, but it was the right amount for her. I would probably come here again if I have a coupon. I am not sure if I would go out of my way to return, but I would not object to coming back. Thus, three stars it is! Big Buffet $14.95 Skeeter Burger $7.95 Beef Taco [Comp Item $4.95 Tax $1.89 Total $24.79
Karaoke on Thursday nights at a Tex Mex family restaurant. What a weird combo! We headed over to Skeeter 's for a quiet meal and when we got there, we were in some weird dream (nightmare) of kids and adults doing Karaoke. Anyway, this only occurs on Thursdays. I ordered chicken tenders. It comes with fries and some Texas toast. The chicken is very heavily breaded and fried. The fries are fine and the Texas toast is good (basically fried bread). The food here is fine, just 'ok '. It 's very generic. I do like that they have cheery and vanilla syrup dispensers on the soda machine so you can make any your favorite sodas flavored. I do like that you can write on the tables (crayons on paper table covers). There is often some sports game showing on the TV. Overall this is a good place to bring the family. Just don 't expect spectacular food.
There are so many places to eat here but forgot about how good and consistent Skeeter's is. Fish taco at $4.95 with chips..good price. Lots of fish too.
