El Vaquero Mexican Diner - Sugar Land

My experience at the Mexican restaurant left much to be desired. Initially, they let my mom try the green salsa for the enchiladas, but abruptly took it away, claiming it wasn't for customers. The inconsistency with their offerings continued when the server insisted they only had chicken nuggets, yet later brought chicken tenders, leaving us puzzled.Sadly, the food itself was below average and lacked the expected flavor. Regrettably, the overall experience was tainted by the server's unusually unfriendly demeanor. It's safe to say I won't be returning to this restaurant.

It’s a simple strip mall Tex-mex with excellent food and low prices. Their unique salsa is delicious; I had the street tacos and that came with two more great sauces. Don’t miss a great meal if you are nearby.

The food and drinks are great and the service is amazing!We will be coming back very soon!

Great food, we have been looking for great TexMex at a reasonable price for a while. I am a tough critic and I liked everything here. Chips and salsa, fajitas, rice and beans, queso and the margaritas were all great! We'll be back for sure!Kid-friendliness: They were so kind to my kids too! Good high chairs, too.
