Teapot Tearoom - Suffolk Coastal

The atmosphere was not very welcoming. When we sat down, it seemed like we were bothering the woman in charge. We ordered coffee and were given a French press without being asked if we preferred it strong. The food took a long time to arrive. When we were ready to pay, we were informed that they only accepted cash and had to go to a nearby newsagent to get cash back. It was not a very professional experience. In contrast, Cafe 46 across the road was lovely and much more inviting.

Upon entering the tearoom, I was greeted by an unfriendly older lady who appeared disinterested. The smell of stale smoke was off-putting. The tearoom appears outdated and could benefit from a thorough cleaning. I will not be returning and do not recommend this establishment.

Popped in today for a cup of tea a cake. We had our dog with us so sat outside. I walked inside the cafe to see what cakes were on offer got given a filthy look from the woman serving was snapped at to wait outside. I explained I was just looking to see what they had asked if she wouldn’t mind filling my water bottle so I could give my dog a drink. Her reply was so abrupt rude (NOT NOW!!!!! we left without ever wanting to return. We are new to the area if we’d been given a warm welcome would have definitely returned on future occasions. Cafe 46 for us in future. Serious staff training required.

Place was dirty and stuffy . Cups not washed properly . Very little attention to Covid guidelines . One member of staff was wearing a very dirty well worn paper mask . Kept touching it we were going to order food but just kept to the coffee . Won’t be going again

We discovered this restaurant on our way to Easton Farm Park and, although it was crowded, we were seated at an outdoor table. We only ordered sandwiches, and they were delicious, generously filled and served with a side salad and chips. Keep in mind that this is a small restaurant, so there may be a wait during peak times due to limited seating. The staff were very friendly!
