Mcdonald's - Suffolk

For some reason, they are consistently slow. While the food and service are quite good, the speed of service leaves much to be desired. It’s actually faster to go inside than to use the drive-thru. Although they have two drive-thru lanes, it seems they mainly utilize just one, probably due to a staffing shortage. Despite that, they remain my go-to spot for a quick snack.

The staff and service during my visit today were outstanding! Everyone was young and courteous, which contributed to a fantastic experience. My order was quite complex, yet it was executed perfectly. I specifically mention their youth because, in many fast food establishments, the staff tends to be older and often less friendly. It was refreshing to have such a professional group of young individuals take my order and serve my food. Compared to other places in this area, this was by far the best experience we've had. I want to commend these young people, especially the young black youth, for stepping up and showing their dedication to work post-COVID. They have a bright future ahead of them. The drive-thru was the only option available, but it was quick. It’s definitely changed a lot since I was a kid, but my granddaughter loves the nuggets. The fish sandwich is my favorite, but it's getting noticeably smaller!
