McDonald's - Sudbury

Not only did this location refuse to honor discount coupons, but they also seemed to make up their own arbitrary rules. On a more positive note, I suppose they did me a favor by inspiring me to swear off McDonald's for good. As a result, I may live a little longer, as will my grandchildren. So, thank you for your disgusting, unclean restaurant, awful service, and disrespectful staff. Your incompetence may have actually saved my life.

The restaurant has dirty tables, floors, and bathrooms filled with overflowing garbage cans. Orders often take a long time to be served and are frequently incorrect. The drive-thru is not any faster than walking in. The fountain soda usually tastes awful.

I just ordered two teas and found the service a bit slow in preparing them. I received one right away but had to wait a while for the second one. However, the staff were very friendly.

If you are a fast food lover, You probably know how McDonald’s tastes like. It’s pretty typical so what I’m focusing on would be the speed and quality of the service and the freshness of the food as well as the cleanliness of the space...which is very important to me. The drive through is slow most of the time but the food is good. We go there every now and than. It’s unfortunate but in Sudbury you could experience some franchise stores out of main menu items. They sometimes don’t have my favourite sundae ... but it’s pretty normal here.. once we had NO CHICKEN in all Sudbury KFC locations.

I have been in this location many times over the last few years, sometimes for breakfast on weekends, the occasional hamburger but mostly coffee. I never go through the drive thru, sometimes the lineups have been a little longer than I would like but that...happens if you go during busy periods. McDonald's is what it is. It's been my experience that the staff for the most part are hard working, trying to do a good job in the face of a lot of ridiculous customers. IE. someone waits to get to the front of the line with several people behind them, and it is at that point they decide to read the menu. Again it is MacDonald's. Their coffee has seen a huge improvement and by far exceeds what Tim's is offering.
