Restaurant Sultan Saray - Stuttgart

The food was great, true authentic Turkish food with a lot of options. The service and the ambience matched the food quality. Worth a visit when in Stuttgart.

We went there because of Restaurant Sultan Saray is listed as halal Restaurant in Stuttgart here in TripAdvisor. I can either not understand what exactly should be halal (the meat? , when in parallel haram things as alcoholic drinks will be served) neither who has stated that there is something worth to be classified as halal. When a Restaurant is classified halal, it is a show stopper when in parallel there are things which could be classified as haram. To be transparent:I did not ask at all if the meat was halal, as for me the presence of haram things spoiled the evening at all. We ordered vegeterian food, which was quite ok.

The people who work at the Sultan Saray are great. I wish it's was like that everywhere. The menu is excellent and the selection of Turkish wines very interesting. I would really like to give them a much better rating, but the cooking was very poor by Turkish standards. Like other foreign restaurants it seems to cater to the Germanic taste for soggy, gravy and plenty of salad dressing from a plastic bucket and dull. My advice. It has everything to be at least very good... but cook proper Turkish food.

Hi, We waited for a long time for our foods! They brought us the food one after the others. When I finished my food, the food for my friend came! The taste was okay but the quantity was too low. I do Not recommend the place.
