Plumber Manor Country House

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights with dinner booked on the 2nd night. The hotel is a wonderful property with lovely grounds. The food was exceptional and we wished we had booked dinner for both nights. A big thank you to the owner and staff who gave such a warm welcome. Such a wonderful place, full of character. Dinner was scrumptious and generous, and the fields outside offered great space for our dog to burn it off. Service was attentive and very welcoming. Will return.

We received a warm welcome to Plumber Manor and the service throughout was excellent. We had a large courtyard bedroom with an extremely comfortable bed (with a large umbrella for the times it rained getting to the main house). Spacious bathroom with lovely toiletries The house and gardens are beautiful. The dinner menu had good and delicuous choices, with some changes each day, and with a magnificent wine list! Charting to the owner in the bar after dinner was fun. Breakfast was really good. Tea and coffee facilities in the room (with scrummy home made shortbread as well). The only possible improvement I could think of would be to provide a way of making a better coffee than instant in the bedrooms. Thanks to all the welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. Stayed at Plumber Manor overnight for a wedding. Everything from the location, the grounds, the house itself, the people and the service was absolutely top notch. Nothing was too much trouble including helping us navigate last minute taxis and anxiety! I regret I did not have chance to try the food which I am told is amazing.
