Bidra med feedbackExcellent for price. Lovely indoor pool. Rooms with everything that's needed. Really helpful staffers. (They told me where I could get some free boxes since my college kid needed to pack up. Have been to a bunch of them. This is the best.
And it 's good old country comfort in my bones Just the sweetest sound my ears have ever known (Bernard Taupin/Elton John) We attended a wedding in the area, and this hotel was offered in a room block, The rate was $175, which seemed a little high until we found out the rate was jacked way up from the usual $110 for the Pan Mass charity bicycle race!! Anyway, the hotel was excellent. We had a very nice room with a big comfy bed, a sitting room with a microwave, refrigerator and coffee maker, excellent air conditioning, excellent TV, plenty of electrical outlets, free parking, good Wi-Fi, and a nice sized bathroom with a very good shower. They even have a nice bar with many craft beers and unique cocktails. What more do you need when traveling? Breakfast is included, and it was pretty good -eggs, sausages, a waffle machine, plus cereal, fruit, yogurt, pastries, juice, etc. Front desk service was first rate, so all in all, we had a terrific stay.
The initial selling point was this is behind a Cracker Barrel! But the reviews that the hotel is also very clean with a friendly staff are true as well. If you are staying on a Brimfield weekend, THE PRICES DO GO UP. It is capitalism, the demand skyrockets so the hotel is able to charge more. This is not a knock against the hotel because a I understand this and b the hotel was friendly and accommodating throughout, but one other customer got upset at ME because I didn't share his outrage over the price. (And if you don't know what Brimfield is, Google. The only negative is the toilet it's like, two feet off the ground, if that. Everything else in the room is sized for adults, but even the queen suite it was LOW.
Here I am at 2am writing a review instead of sleeping. Room was very clean, staff friendly but for $200 a night I cannot believe these beds are so incredibly hard. I mean hey, if sleeping on concrete mattresses is your thing then by all means, this is the place for you. I 've spent the last 5 years in the Wildland Fire service sleeping in some of the craziest places both in the woods and hotels in the western states and never have I ever felt the need to write a review about accommodations until I stayed here in this King Suite . Do yourself a favor, stay somewhere else, OR book a room here for your in-laws if you really don 't like them much.
My family stayed here for ten days and thought it was great. The only minus was the water pressure in the shower. Other than that the place was clean and the staff was friendly. Our kids slept well, the pull out couch bed was very comfortable for what it is. Our room got cleaned whenever we asked, we really liked the water in the lobby. The pools were nice but the hot tub wasn't working. Breakfast was better than we expected and even though my family slept in a lot because of the time change and decent beds I'd grab some food towards the end and bring it up to them. They also have coffee available all day. Judy was especially great every morning at breakfast. She was very friendly and helpful and nice to talk to. We'll probably stay there again in the future.
