Central Diner Grille - Strip District

Different kind of place, but good. Service was good. Food was good, with variety not typical of restaurants.

Food was excellent. Our table had steak eggs, lasagna, moussaka, filet of sole, chicken panini, and a kid's menu hotdog in a bun. Service speedy despite the packed Sunday lunch crowd. We had to get our names on the waitlist at 12noon but got a table (booth for six within 15min or so. Atmosphere was lively with families nd friends' chatter, but may be a little loud for others who prefer a quieter place. They got the whole restaurant to sing for one of the tables celebrating a birthday! Highly recommended for brunch lunch, and I imagine the dinner and late night experience would be great too. After lunch, we sat outdoors for dessert coffee (had to get on the waitlist again as we were being joined by another family of six! . The apple pie carrot cake are a hit. Parking: Plenty of parking in front of the restaurant and next door (in front of the bank but was pretty full at noon. We managed to get a spot after a few minutes' wait. Crowd was still piling in and out at 1:30 2:30pm! Busy Sunday!

Greek panini is fantastic, best coleslaw around, great onion rings, and anything gyro is outstanding

Really big portions of great food with even better prices! We love the roast lamb when they have it on special. Service can get a bit slow as they are nearly always busy.

Decent meal here. Service was good too. Nothing over the top, not a “need-to-come-back-to-die-for kind of meal. But decent. Busy so maybe i didn’t order the greatest meal on the menu.
