Shelby's Legendary Shawarma Caradoc St

Shelby's is a reliable chain for shawarma, consistently delivering top-notch quality. Their shawarma bowls are absolutely delicious, with mouthwatering sauces and perfectly cooked rice. The service was excellent and I was pleasantly surprised to find a halal restaurant in the area that is so outstanding. I would give Shelby's a perfect score of 5 for both food, service, and atmosphere.

I've eaten at Shelby's in London for years. I've eaten at Shelby's in Windsor since it opened.. I would say this is the wish version of Shelby's. The food was sub par. Not the usual Shelby's quality. The guy tore our shawarma apart as it got stuck in the press... Did he make a new one... Nope just stuffed it in the box. The restaurant clearly doesn't have working air conditioning. I wasn't sure if they were making food or melting steel. It was so hot it was uncomfortable. I would say if this is your first Shelby's experience... Please don't judge the entire Chain by this location. Go to London or Windsor... For the real Shelby's experience.

Ordered the legendary shawarma bowl with half rice/half fries. Was supposed to have 2x the protein. It was pretty much just rice, maybe 10 fries in it, and was very difficult to find any chicken in it. Won't order from Shelby's again. During my last visit, I ordered beef shawarma but was given a mix of lamb and beef without prior notice. The meat lacked flavor and smelled weird, making it unappetizing. The absence of fresh parsley and soggy fries further added to the unpleasant experience. Overall, the declining quality and customer service indicate that this location may not be open for much longer. The focus should be on providing fresh products and maintaining high standards, especially with rising prices in the food industry. This is a common issue among many food outlets in 2024 and not specific to just one restaurant like Shelby's.
