Once they get in, they know that there is no waiter or waiter to welcome them, there are no menus, and they need to ask the dame in the kitchen for what is available. we finished the suggested main course with pancakes, salmon and some other dinge on a small dish, cost a total of 35 dollars. the dame told us this option came out with pilmeni (Russian knödel.) after the main course the knödel came out...read more
I am happy to eat here, but the things have turned very quickly. Note: I would have rated this place zero but there is no lower option than 1. other reviews suggested this restaurant too modest price so we thought we would go there. we arrived at the Russian club in strathfield, where we were going our way into what we suspected was berezka restaurant there was no obvious signage. there was no one in the restaurant to welcome us so that we walked to the kitchen for help. we were recommended to sit anywhere, as there were no other diners literary. Berezka restaurant is a small humble restaurant that serves the Harbin-born white Russian directors of the club. the menu, consisting of half dozens or so items and with class like pelmeni (a entree, piroshki (a entree and main, stroganoff and kotlety (mains, is simple, but effective.
