Come Around Cafe - Strathcona County

We ordered mozzarella sticks and the Crispy Buffalo Chicken Wing rolls. The chicken wing rolls were absolutely amazing and I highly recommend them. They are a homemade blend of cream and cheddar cheese with buffalo chicken wrapped in a spring roll. My husband ordered the beer battered cod 2-piece and he enjoyed it, saying it was not too greasy and had just the right amount of batter. The portion size was generous, and he ended up taking some fries and one piece of fish home. Entrees come with a choice of side such as homemade fries, soup, tossed salad, or Caesar salad. There are also additional options available for a small extra cost, including perogies, poutine, onion rings, or sweet potato fries. I had the peppercorn crusted mushroom mozza burger and it was delicious. The burger was big, the bun was tasty, and I also took some of it home. We also got dessert to go, a caramel brownie that was absolutely incredible. The desserts and daily specials change regularly, and you can see them posted on their Facebook page. Come Around Café is open for dinner from Wednesday to Sunday, and all the food is homemade. The owner and chef, Dianne, runs the restaurant and cooks all the meals. The atmosphere is relaxed and the food is fantastic. While it may not be a fancy place being located in the curling club, it is very clean, friendly, and the food should not be missed. The prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. My burger with a side and coleslaw was $12, and my husband's fish dinner was also $12. Appetizers range from $6 to $12, except for wings, which are $21 for a double order.

This Tim Hortons location will always hold a special place in my memories of Canada. A few years ago, I found myself in the area in early December.
