We love Indian food, but we haven't eaten since two of us have been diagnosed with celiac disease. During our visit to Stratford we decided to try a restaurant we had loved before... And we were thrilled to discover that only the breads and the samosas contain gluten! Everything we ate was delicious.

Always great food and service. We had dinner on the 12th of August and the owner went out of his way to make our dining experience memorable. Highly recommended.

We were four people who dined at Raja this last Saturday, July 29th 2023 and immediately after entering the restaurant, we were greeted by a genuine smiling and beautiful face of a woman working there who turned out to be the wife of the owner. She had no financial need to work there, but rather wanted to contribute to a wonderful dining experience.What followed was a palate-enhancing experience. Delicious perfectly seasoned food.Two of our party live in Chelsea, Quebec, while my love and I live in Montreal where a plethora of great Indian restaurants compete with other every day.My favourite cuisine is Indian cuisine. Raja topped my beloved Montreal restaurants and comfortably so.We will be back at Raja every time we visit Stratford to soak in a play or two.

The food at this restaurant is incredible! The ambiance has a great ethnic feel and the server was very friendly and polite. We tried the King Prawn Jalfrezi and Mutton Curry and they were some of the best dishes we've had in Canada. We have already recommended this place to many friends. A must-visit!
