Gaetano's Deli - Stratford

Gaetano’s is the best but i have to admit that i’m disappointed in the buffalo chicken in the past year. There’s way too much mayo on it every time. Does not taste like buffalo chicken, more like mayo chicken.

I haven't lived in Stratford since 2015, but every 6 months I make sure my first stop back in town is at Gaetano's. My favorite subs in the world. Amazing fresh bread.

I recently bought a few items to take out, the Sophia Loren sandwich with the Ovengold Turkey and Lace Swiss Cheese, lettuce, tomato and Mayo. I had it on a wrap, available on other bread options, so very fresh and so delicious! I also bought the fried eggplant with mozzarella and tomato, had this on a roll, also excellent. I also got a small container of the pasta salad with peas, really excellent. Their service is efficient, their meats are the best, high quality. Their rice balls are also excellent! A must stop. They also have some patio tables outside. It is wheelchair accessible. Excellent parking in back, too!

My husband bought me a veggie grinder so delicious ? he loves the Bishop sandwich service was fast and friendly ?

Guy at the cash register was very rude and insulted me because i had a bass pro shop hat and thought it was funny to comment if i worked there. and i can’t even order because their names are so ridiculous
