Brasserie Flo - Strasbourg

Really nice dining room with well spaced tables and stands. Enjoy very well cooked cod with an intensely flavored lobster/shellfish sauce and a starter salad. All foods were well presented and service was excellent. Good selection of wines with some local Riesling with... good vintages at reasonable prices.

The restaurant looks good and I thought the service was good, but that's where it ends. We got Escargot, who was mediocre, and my steactar was almost useless. It was a huge unseasonal soil beef. I had to mix it with the salad to get any taste. The foie gras was just a plate of liver with not much more on the plate. My partner has a steak and he liked him. Luckily I could eat some of his fries to fill me. Even if you were looking for classic French dishes I would happen.

Nice setting but mediocre food and very slow service. The main room is really worth seeing. The open wine was not recommendable.

Looking for a nice place to have dinner, my wife walked by this restaurant and found it such a pleasant place to have dinner. We were greeted most politely and seated in a very nice table. The table setting was very beautiful and most professional....Our waitress also was most professional and helpful. We had dishes of oysters and soup for starters and fish for main courses. Very nice wine selection and of course a very good dessert! I would recommend this restaurant to someone who is looking for a very nice place to eat with beautiful surroundings and great food. We loved our evening here.
