We had planned to have breakfast in a café in the centre of Straelen-Herongen, which on the Internet claimed to be open on Sunday morning at 8.30. However, as the facility remained dark and nothing wasted when the clock was closed until 8.30, we looked up and down the mountain road and discovered Bakery Holtmanns. This bakery is a typical German establishment with a counter where you can order your bakery products home, and six or seven tables where you can have coffee, tea, sandwiches or in our case, breakfast. The order is at the counter; Breakfast is brought to you by an employee. Breakfast, coffee, rolls, meat and eggs, was made from fresh ingredients and delicious, and the bill was surprisingly low. Parking is located on the street or on a small plot next to the bakery. Recommended.
