Acadia House Provisions - Stonington

I enjoyed a very pleasant, and intentionally light, dinner at Acadia House Provisions. I started with perhaps the best Wedge Salad I have ever had, accentuated as it was by lobster, avocado and a fried egg. I then enjoyed the Mussels which were tender, yet firm (not mushy), and served in a very flavorful broth. Although it was intended to be a light dinner, I could not pass up the Blueberry Streusel served with Ginger ice cream. The Streusel was served in a hot cast iron server and it was wonderful. All in all a great dinner.

The restaurant has a fantastic location with stunning views. The food was delicious, especially the oysters, wedge salad, scallops, and lobster pie. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the whole experience well worth the journey.

Had a wonderful birthday dinner last night with friends. All of our entrees were superb including the lobster pot pie, lobster grilled cheese, and the cod dish. Would highly recommend and will go back when we return.

Wonderful experience. Great wines. Delicious food, but a little too salty.

Our dinner at Acadia House was the best part of our trip to Deer Isle. The service was welcoming and laid-back. The food was exceptional. We will definitely be coming back.
