Turtle Jack's Upper Centennial

This place only works if they want to get a beer. cocktails are delicious, but not worth waiting. I had chicken happy and the pasta had 0 tastes. tasted like boiled spaghetti (no salt or spice) and had made the texture of milk powder the sose. nothing creamy or tasteful. the cook has never tasted a real pasta. even their signature the hell of a burger was absolutely dry and not spicy. with a piece of cheese in a dose. we had to wait 10 minutes to sit. not because the place was full or there was no server. just because the teen servers ignored us (on their handy standing) and stood to chat. Eating takes 40 minutes waiting and drinks around 15 minutes. I would make it clear for the price.

Disappointed with the experience of last night. We sat almost 20 minutes before our waitress, would have started with drinks if they were offered. The waitress wore sunglasses and gave us very little attention. A family member ordered the steak and assumed it would come with potatoes and vegetables as the menu indicated. Instead came out with double portions. Waitress never asked and accepted. All Pommes were very salty. I regularly dine at another Turtle Jacks location and am usually impressed by service and quality. Last night was terrible.

Amazing place, amazing service, delicious food! I came in with my wife for the first time today and had such a wonderful time to eat. It'll come more often.

Terrible eating! the service was slow. we ordered two orders from basa fish tacos, bruschetta, bang bang shrimp. a soft drink and a glass of red wine. the garnels were not recognizable and smeared in a bowl with little sauce. the cloves are frozen. I had to open the garnels to see if it was clogged because it didn't taste like that. the bruschetta brot was hard! with a feta sprinkle hardly to beat. no balsamic glaze or garlic aïoli above, as I remember last time I visited. the fish on the tacos was the only thing that tasted fresh. the drinks were good, but how can you screw red wine and arnold palmer. the bill was about $89. we went to Alexandro on the upper james after we were still hungry and unsatisfactory.

We have been enjoying Turtle Jacks Upper Centennial location since 2011. Always great service and food. Most recently very disappointing on both aspects. It was like our server had left the building unannounced. We found ourselves recruiting the help of other servers to get us a drink or check on our food order. Finally after close to one hour we requested the manager. We were extremely anxious by this time and feeling very neglected . A server ALICIA came to our table appologized for the extreme delay and was honest about the reason our table had been left unattended for such a length of time. Im not going to give details only say that perhaps understanding was necessary in this instance) As a result of ALICIA'S professional handling of this unfortunate situation we were back on track with what was to be a fun evening with friends. ALICIA ...you know who we are and always know that we were most impressed with your ability to quickly turn a bad situation into a positive one. YOU ARE A REAL ASSET TO YOUR EMPLOYER Thank you
