Thai Orchid - Stoney Creek

I phoned a take out order in for my partner and did not review the order when I picked it up. Sadly the order was wrong and when I called to complain about the order, I was told it was my fault. Not only was the order wrong because I know what I ordered was a “regular” order, the staff member was rude when I called back. To top off the wrong order and the lousy service attitude, the staff member had the nerve to call me back AFTER the fact and leave a nasty message for me! We will never return! Now the pandemic is over service staff think they can say and do what they want to customers, expecting to receive compliments or tips…SORRY that’s the wrong number!

The food is delicious, but you can only get take out now. I enjoyed sitting in the quaint restaruant and enjoying the food there, not in my dining room. What I think was one of the better Thai restaurants is not much more than a fast food outlet. too bad too!

It will likely be hard to believe for some but my meal from Thai Orchid has left me happy for days. It has been a long time since I have been able to enjoy Thai Food and I am thrilled that I chose Thai Orchid. The service was amazing. This was a delivery meal and they called me to ask about one of the items as I listed an allergy and they offered an alternative option. And I wish now that I ordered multiple of the Mango and Sticky Rice! Thank you again for adding such pleasure to the week. I will definitely be ordering again... and soon!

We have tried their pad thai on multiple occasions and each time we were impressed by the generous portions that left us feeling full. A single serving can easily feed two people. The appetizers are also delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.
