Luau Pig #2 Bbq - Stonewall

We drove down to Stonewall excited about trying out the barbecue. Arrived 2:50 p.m. on a Thursday and it was closed. There are no signs indicating hours of operation so maybe it's hit and miss. We will try again in the future and update this review.

Great little local stop for BBQ. You will need to be patient because the owner is the operator who was working alone when I went. He was super personable and I enjoyed conversing with him as he filled my order. Tried the brisket and chicken which were wonderful. Ribs must be popular, he was out when I went after work. The potato salad is on the sweet side, so if you prefer the tang of traditional mustard potato salad you may not like it. I bet he would let you sample it first! We will go back. What Mr. Ray cooks at this place is a piece of art , it’s the most beautiful thing you’ll ever see, smell, and taste. I guarantee it! He puts love into that baked potato
