Bidra med feedbackStopped in at 6:30 on a Friday night to have some food and a drink. The bartender rudely said...to late for food and only 20 minutes to order a drink. If this is the way you treat customers, then you should close at 6:30 so your staff can leave by 7:00. Your website says you close at 7:00 not 6:30. No wonder you are not busy....there were still golfers out there who may have wanted a drink before going home. Not the response I expected from an elite and prestigious golf course. Will continue going to the grill 254, where you are treated with more respect.
Soups and Sandwiches rocked on cold fall day! And the post round craft cocktails elevate this 19th hole. The sports theme makes it fun for non golfers too. Carl Eats here! Especially after breaking 90!
Traveliers golfers, this is a great spot ! The food is really good even if it is pretty high priced.
The place was dead at lunch, which should have been a clue. Had the grilled chicken sandwich. Bacon was burned. Chicken was dry and overcooked. The angry potatoes were heavily coated in the spice and barely edible. My colleague's meal was incorrectly cooked and the staff attempted to compensate with a unappealing appetizer. Would not recommend.
254 Grill and sports bar on La Cantera Resort is a hidden gem!!! The food equals or exceeds the Sweetfire as does the service. But it is spacious and fairly priced. We can not recommend highly enough the roasted Brussel sprouts with chipotle sauce and pancetta... mmmmm. My husband’s flank steak was “ melt in your mouth!” And a big shout out to manager of all restaurants on La Cantera, Robert Lothain, who encouraged us to walk a mere 1/4 mile or less to try it out. It’s worth the trip! (Or take the golf cart as my husband says!
