Bidra med feedbackAlthough Stone Harbor is my happy place when I come over from Delaware, this was my first time visiting the Pier. Wonderful visit. I sat at the counter since I was alone and was able to see the grill hard at work. The food was wonderful, expedited by “Master Chef” Eric and the team of merry men! I got the Double Trouble with blueberry pancakes. Nice size pancakes, not too heavy, just right for me. Met the families that make the Pier their’s. One thing I truly value was the camaraderie amongst the staff. They are a hard working team and no one appeared to be walking on eggshells or overly agitated. It is clear they not only care for their customers, but also each other. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Maybe it's because I was by myself. Or maybe it's because I'm an old lady. Or maybe both. The service I received was less than stellar in fact after ordering I never saw my waitress again. Eggs Benedict one egg raw the other overdone. No one asked how it was. Found out it was cash when I went to pay. There is a big sign on the front door but they have the front door wide open so you don't see that. I've been here a number of times it's just not great. But with a captive audience most of the places at the shore aren't the best. This just felt really rude.
Nice spot, very friendly good service. Food is not bad but portions seemed small and prices were high, even for an inflationary period like now. I got an omelette and it was much smaller than other places. The potatoes were very sparse (I got maybe 7 or 8 small potato eighths and one piece of toast cut in half (most local places give two pieces for lower price). Not bad but I'd opt to go elsewhere next time.
We just ate here for the first time over the weekend and it was very good. The eggs benedict was delicious. Most restaurants mess this up but this place was spot on.
Very good food at a fair price. The staff is extremely courteous. Breakfast and lunch only. Seems to be kid friendly.
