Venus Fish - Stoke-on-Trent

The food at this restaurant is top-notch and reasonably priced, but unfortunately, the slow service really detracts from the overall experience. Despite there being plenty of young women serving, the wait for food is consistently long. I find myself leaving before getting served about half the time I visit Venus, opting to eat elsewhere instead.

Our fish and chips were absolutely inedible,the worst food I have ever purchased from a chippy,fish and chips both nearly cold and I only had to go I street away I think they cook too much at one time ,I can't wait for the Vicky road one to open,I have used this chippy for years but feel as I have just thrown a tenner away,most gone in the bin

The fish I had was all batter and the chips weren’t very nice at all. The women who served me was very miserable she was rude to a man in front of me as well

Greasy tasteless fish, chips were also soggy like tgeh had been double fried the staff were something else customer service is not a part of their agenda

Been many times, but tonight was terrible. Rude miserable woman serving, food poor,dont know if its changed hands but wont be going again. We used to go out of our way to visit, no more.
