Bidra med feedbackCashier didn't realise I was waiting to pay. Accused me of jumping the queue when I had a cold drink in my hand from the other side of the counter. Rude unapologetic. Despite telling her we were staying in, drinks were given in take out cups.
I went to this restaurant with a friend and was disappointed to see that there were five staff members behind the counter chatting casually. We stayed for half an hour and noticed that there were nine dirty tables with cups and other items left on them that none of the staff bothered to clean. It wasn't even busy at the time. Customers coming in were forced to sit at dirty tables. It was not a good experience overall. Despite there being no people in line, the staff continued to chat amongst themselves instead of attending to customers.
When I arrived, the restaurant wasn't very busy. However, no tables had been cleared or cleaned, and the place was absolutely filthy. There were four staff members that I could see, all standing by the tills and chatting. I ordered coffee, and when someone from the back said something, they all sprang into action and swiftly made my coffee. Then, someone came through the drive-thru, found a seat, and cleared the table. I placed my dishes on the counter, hoping it would encourage someone to clear the tables, but unfortunately, they remained dirty with dishes still on every table as I left after being there for 45 minutes.
My friend and I decided to grab a coffee while shopping. We are aware of the limitations in place due to COVID-19. However, I have never experienced such rude staff who treated me poorly. The girl at the register acted as if she couldn't understand me when I asked for a milk alternative. When I requested sugar for my coffee, I was scolded for not asking earlier (since it was my first time at the establishment) and given only one sugar when I asked for three. The customer service was terrible, especially considering the current situation where businesses should be grateful for customers spending money. I will not be returning.
Visited this Starbucks recently and it is definitely not as good as it once was. I was there reasonably early, the floors were covered in crumbs, like it hadn’t been cleaned the night before. Service was quite slow and staff were chatting behind the counter when there were tables to be cleared. Coffee was good, but the surroundings were not.
