Charlie Bassett's Pub - Stoke-on-Trent

Been here a few times. Everything was lovely no complaints. However today was the first day of no table service. No booking. New menu. A very poor menu! Ordered at the bar. Food came then we had to go and get out own cutlery, sauces etc. I’m surprised we didn’t have to wash our own dishes. I won’t be returning. The food was dry and boring. It a great experience at all.

Fantastic pub, really good menu and price. Food was amazing and really impressed with the portion sizes. Staff are super friendly and helpful, definitely book in advance as they are always busy.

Went for lunch with dear friends. Welcomed with a warm friendly atmosphere , food was well presented and very tasty, well worth a visit .will return .

Went for Christmas dinner, food and choice was excellent, staff were helpful, professional and friendly, would strongly recommend.

We called in for a pint and some lunch. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty , we enjoyed it so much that we booked an evening meal the following day and again it was tasty and very filling. It boasts a very big beer garden and also hosts a campsite which looks very well kept. We highly recommend this village pub
