Bidra med feedbackSo delicious, the owners are so nice and kind! The food is delicious and the oysters are spectacular! Cannot wait to go again!
They got a storefront now in Stockton. Was very excited to go in and get some stuff. But the door is blocked off so you can't go inside. Very weird.
Simply the best foodie food in this area, bar none. The current incarnation is a little takeout kitchen in the Eagle plaza. Order online ahead of time. Smoked duck was simply unreal great pair with the peach mostarda and a bottle of natural wine from Stockton Fine Wines around the corner. The caponata was also amazing (something about that agrodolce, maybe) I tossed it with tinned sardines over bucatini. Olive oil cake is not to be missed! Maybe top it with a lil compote? Great for impressing guests with sophisticated taste, picnicking with charcuterie on the Delaware, or just throwing together restaurant quality meals with prepared foods when you don't have the bandwidth to cook. 10/10 will order again the next time I have disposable income
Amazing place, the duck confit is the best I've ever had. Great chefs and food is always fresh and masterful!
It's a 3 1/2 but I can't go 4 yet. They're in a temporary location which is a former roadhouse bar on 29 in PA. It's a fine spot but not what you want for RSC. Service is EXTREMELY slow (by a very nice team), and it's not busy. Food is an easy 4. Amuse Bouche is a crab Rangoon that any Chinese takeout joint will give you. We got a dozen oysters. They were OK but devoid of oyster liquor...makes one wonder... 2nd course beef tongue is OK, sea bass a little better than OK. Main course duck is good, scallops are fine, and pork belly with sausage is excellent to say the least. Dessert...smallest (and best) banana split ever, and the other was a ginger jawn that you will love if you're a ginger dessert fan. I hope they get their location back in NJ.
