Misaki Sushi & Bar - Stockton

We went on a Friday afternoon right in front of a movie, it was busy, I didn't expect that, but it was worth the Sashami being good and the roles were good, we didn't finish everything, but if I got the chance that I would go again.

Yummy one of my favorite sushi places in the city before the movies. The staff is always friendly and very timely and great customer service.

I loved it. Freshly hot and delicious! The aromas are amazing and not just a piece of rice on a plate.

Food used to be 5 stars, but of course due to inflation, prices are high quality food fall down. I?ve noticed in the last few years, Es?s Been Way More Rice Than Everything Else on their roles. Flavor is still amazing, but I would like to just a tad bit less on the rice. As far as the service goes, the front hostess desk is shameful. I waited to keep for 20 minutes from the time she finally answered I had already observed to the restaurant Sat as 2-3 of Them Sat for her personal cell phones texting. When I entered, there was one of them to answer the holding line that I then placed my order. She said it was a 25 minutes waiting for sitting son to hold for 20 minutes. In one of the hostess defenses, she was very helpful. She asked her team member to check on my order, as it had estimated the 25 minutes that they all ordered their call, she reacted to her colleagues? Um... I'm going back in maybe 3 minutes or something because I just came from behind and I didn't see anything else prepared? During this time, I witness the Line Cook for roles finish my roles and send them to the kitchen to get another item to complete my order, instead of helping the hostess to grab those orders, they drove on their phones so that kitchen staff bring the orders to them. I've never had such inconsistency as a team as I have with these young ladies. At one point even the bartender had to grab a huge stack of menus and bring them back to the hostess desk, as they were sooo preoccupied to talk to each other and be on their phones. Eating is always great, minus the excessive rice, but everything else, could definitely use an upgrade. For the hostess who was helpful, thank you and I appreciate you. To the entire kitchen staff, you? very much appreciated.

This was my first time here, and it was great! It was lunchtime, and I was seated quickly. The staff was very nice and the food was delicious. I had the edamame, miso soup, the spicy scallop roll. I'll definitely be back.
