Bidra med feedbackLovely place for a lunch treat, forgot how good this place is Menu loosely based on Greek Mediterranean with a good mixture of dishes including meat, fish and vegetarian I started with the tomato soup which I would say the best I have ever tasted followed with Fish kebabs which included Tuna, Monkfish and Prawns My good lad had the Spanakopita pie with spinach and feta Desert lemon meringue tart and apple crumble with vanilla custard The meal and service absolutely faultless
Very nice breakfast a bit of play on the traditional. Would have preferred a sausage other than a sausage patty and perhaps hash browns (I understand the hash brown debate! . Overall very nice good service and a nice pot of tea.
Usually love this place! However the last time we visited it seems it has really gone down hill. Credit to Helen as she was amazing however the rest of the staff had 0 social skills, and the service was just not up to standard. The food was average, said they will be changing the menu the following week it seems they should be changing the staff too! All in all won’t be returning which is very disappointing! Lee the bar man, claimed he had been in the industry years however he was rude, clueless and the look of his age definetly didn’t match the class of his social skills.
I went to this restaurant for lunch with my daughter. The staff was very friendly and the service was quite quick. I had the brisket for lunch, which was lovely, along with the accompanying vegetables. I didn't want dessert, so I asked for the bill. The reason I gave it 3 stars was not because of the food or service, but because of the high markup on a very small bottle of Diet Coke. I understand that businesses need to make a profit, but £3.25 for a small bottle of Diet Coke, which would cost £3.50 for 4 in Tesco, seemed excessive. Paying £6.50 for 2 bottles felt way overpriced.
Consistently excellent food and service, could not fault the quality, taste and presentation. Highly recommend
