Bidra med feedbackWe had our first experience at Marple, a charming village, and stumbled upon this hidden gem of a café. We decided to have breakfast and enjoyed delicious bacon and sausage sandwiches. The service was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. We definitely plan on returning.
I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years, with my wife visiting multiple times a week. The service was appalling on my last visit. Despite there being four empty tables, a young girl informed us that we couldn't just have coffee or drinks and must order food in case they get busy. She added that we could come back after 2:30, even though it was only 2:15 and there were regular customers present. While they encourage shopping locally, I will no longer be dining there. My wife may still choose to go, but it's not for me.
The food at this restaurant was mediocre and overpriced for what was offered, likely due to understaffing issues. We were not satisfied with our meal and do not plan to return in the future.
Short staff, dirty dishes and it took a long time to get our food. The week after, we went to the next door coffee shop( All things nice) we got much better food and service.
Every week when I come to see my mum in Marple we go to our favourite cafe in Marple which is the Red Pepper cafe. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious.
