We frequently purchase teacakes, croissants, potato cakes, and bread from this bakery on weekends. I highly recommend trying the date and walnut bread, as well as the seeded jenny.

This is my local bakery and my go-to spot for bread. I highly recommend the Jenny Wren loaf, though all the bread options are excellent. After trying their bread, supermarket bread just doesn't compare anymore! The bakery primarily caters to wholesale customers, but opens to the public on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. They sell out quickly, so it's best to arrive early to stock up for the week. I love their tea cakes, and they also offer delicious cakes and pies based on what Rick decides to bake alongside their core bread offerings. Overall, a fantastic bakery that I highly recommend.

Popped in this morning to get some bread and tried some of their cakes. Super little shop. I have been getting Cowburns bread for quite a number of years but used to get it from a shop they supplied which now very sadly has shut down, This was my first visit to their actual premises. Well worth the visit and lovely to catch up.

The bread at this restaurant is truly artisanal, with a substantial and excellent texture and flavor. A must-visit for authentic bread lovers. It reminds me of the great bread I purchased in Italy and France.
