Bidra med feedbackWe were there in 2021 or 2022. The person working at the order counter was quite unfriendly and unhelpful to us. We had never been to this place before and could have used some information instead of him being rude and rushing us through. It was not even half full that day. We took a table and waited 45 minutes for our food to come out. We were about to leave and not get even wait any longer for the food.As to the food, there wasn't much available in fruit pies, so I ordered a savory. I won't do that again. I'd like to come back and try a fruit pie, but I am unsure if I will.I am hoping they now have better help and more variety.
The Red Wing store is kind of a little brother/sister to the Stockholm store. There isn't usually as much variety in Red Wing, but it is still a place to get those nationally/world famous pies and the sandwiches are excellent, too. The RW store appears to be having difficulties (like everyone in RW) finding employees, so there have been a couple of times when I've given up and gone on to somewhere else for lunch when no one ever appeared to take orders. That seems to be hit-and-miss.
Their Pot Pie's are as good as it gets. Portions are such that my wife and I split one with a salad and it's plenty. Their fruit pies are also killer. We ate there two weekends in a row, what a treat!
The food was good. Fresh baked bread. The building has parking. Order food in the lower level and go upstairs for sitting. The building seems to be designed for boomers, but don't let that discourage you. The restaurant was good.
Probably not coming back. We stopped there on a Saturday morning to have a family meal. Service subpar, we were not even given our coffee cups at the checkout, had to return and ask for them. Prices are those of a full service restaurant, but it's not. You're expected to clean up. Disposable plates. Food quality- not impressive.
