Thai Rung - Stockholm

Dropped in for lunch. Very good food in my opinion. A good level of spicy and a very tasty glass-noodle salad.

As someone from Thailand, all I can say is that this place offers so many dishes in the menu, many of which are not be that typical among Thai restaurant in Stockholm. Among what I like are Larb Ped (Spicy Duck Salad(? and Chu Chee Pla (Fried Fish with Red Curry Paste . I also love the coconut ice cream. If you prefer something not spicy, the little menu where you can have 5 small dishes might be suitable. The place might not be so cheap that I can eat here every day, but I can imagine visiting here from time to time, especially when I want to have some dishes that I cannot have anywhere else.

The food was good and portions were quite alright as well, however we kinda missed having a real waiter, since it looked more like a self-service thing.

Passed by this restaurant many times, finally tried it today. The deco is decent and traditional. They provide a good variety of typical Thai dishes. We ordered fried rice, green curry beef and Tom yam soup. You can't say they stand out but for those who live nearby and want a change, it worth a try. Btw, the waiter is nice and thoughtful.

Consistently high quality, authentic Thai cuisine prepared by an entirely Thai staff. Even their lunch menu offers authentic options. On the à la carte menu, they feature a section called "special or signature dishes," which are particularly authentic—especially the deep-fried butterfly fish. The Tom Yum Goong is equally excellent (à la carte). I've never been disappointed. Highly recommended!
