Teatern, Ringen Skanstull - Stockholm

Very good food.. tried karre sandwich and fries at Mackverket…worth the money.. had to wait a long time for food.. salad was smelling a bit bad but otherwise all items was good.. staff was friendly.. the seats are usually not empty and crowded especially during lunch time.. vegetarian option available.. located inside Ringen mall and close to Skanstull metro

Came here with high hopes of trying Magnus Nilsson’s Korvkiosk hot dog, but his stall was nowhere to be found. According to their website, they’re still operating at Teatern but closed at their other two outdoor locations. But on Teatern’s website, Magnus is no longer listed as one of the chefs. Go figure. Disappointed, I tried another stall Marco Baudone’s Mama. I had the chicken on the bone (110sek), which came with fries and a side salad. Without a doubt, the best thing about this chicken was the skin really well seasoned, super flavorful. Unfortunately, the meat was quite dry (even for breast meat). Fries were cold when I got them, and the salad was nothing to write home about. Overall, average. But at 160sek for the chicken and a glass of wine, you really can’t get a better deal. On the other hand, the cardamom bun (27sek) I had at Daniel Roos’ K Märkt was the best I’ve had of any bun I tried in Stockholm, period. Perfectly balanced flavor, and the dough had great texture. Made me wish I had just tried one of his sandwiches instead of the chicken. Bottom line great overall concept, but inconsistent execution (to be expected from different food stalls). Would go again, but it didn’t really meet my expectations given all the big name chefs.

To be in a shopping mall, it is a great place. In this place u can eat a good quality fast Food at right price. There u find many food corners, some of them are really good. It’s a place where evryone Will fiende something to eat.

En av mina favoritbilliga restauranger och även avslappnade matställen i Stockholm är denna vackra matplats i Rings, Skanstull Teatern. Jag har ett par favoritkök där som jag alltid verkar äta på. Läckra japanska rätter från Nu, kryddig mexikansk mat från Dos Gringos, delikata rätter från Frying Mama och smakfull pizza från Galinas Pizza. Vi får inte glömma ramen-butiken med djupa aromer i buljongen och Rolls Royce-nudlar från Sun Noodles, underbart!
