Bâton Rouge Grillhouse

$45 Prime Rib was impossible to chew. Full of fat. Nasty. I sent it back. Management never came to apologize or offered to make things right. Waitress was friendly and prompt. This place has taken a SERIOUS nosedive in quality. Go to Au Vieux Duluth next door instead.

Lovely place. Clean, friendly staff, amazing atmosphere. Sangaria was great but didn’t match with what we saw on menu..we got only 6 pieces of orange in our pitcher, but on menu 4 kinds or mor of fruits.. in general I recommended.

We just stopped to get a drink after work. My wife ordered a espresso martini. I didn't know what to have so I asked the bartender(Ella) for a suggestion. I said I wanted something fruity. She suggested a strawberry margarita. She nailed it!Both drinks were perfect(see pictures). Ella gave us a very friendly professional service only matched by her bartender skills.It's also pleasant to hear the co-workers talking positive about her bar management.I know it should impact a review, but it does play a part in the atmosphere of a bar. Will go again for sure.

The food was really good, but the potato felt like it wasn’t really as fresh as I expected… Normally a potato like that is soft and hot, but this one felt dry and the cheese was hard. The prices are very high, but for the chicken that I ordered, it was worth it!Kid-friendliness: Bien sûr

Very disappointed. Baton burger that looked like the bottom bun, patty and bacon were fused as 1. Coleslaw that had 0 seasoning/vinegar/dressing. My favourite gripe was due to the fact that I returned with my “pick-up” order since the side of celery root purée was so very salty, it was inedible and 1 of the sides, red mashed garlic potatoes was missing. The hostess was very understanding but the kitchen staff not so much . In fact they were yelling so loud insisting there was nothing wrong that I was able to hear them while waiting at the front desk! They provided the missing item and assured me that the new batch of purée was good. However I returned home only to discover it was as salty as the 1st!! Mixing it with the potatoes did nothing to lessen the saltiness. Food quality is no longer a “thing” for this chain.
