Bidra med feedbackWorkers did not understand english. Had difficulty ordering as worker did not understand pork Was trying to order 2 ground beef, 1 fish and a pork taco- finally had to resigned to accept 3 ground beef and 1 fish taco. The fish was so small, I thought they gave me a shrimp taco by mistake. Taco shells were burnt and ground beef was really dry. To add insult to injury, they helped themselves to an unauthorized tip on my credit card.
Me and my husband are from California and we really were hopeful. The meat tastes boiled and reheated maybe in a pan. Absolutely no flavor at all!!! This is not authentic Mexican food. The street tacos were awful and they didn’t even fry the tortillas right. Raw corn tortillas- Yuck! Seriously California would be ashamed just that you have the word California On your business. Burritos were trash. Good God who the hell calls that a burrito. The food bottom line wasn’t even mediocre. Please take my 25.00 and visit the seasoning aisle at your local grocery store. Oh and that star means nothing. They made me use it!
The food here is always FANTASTIC! It's nice to have a Mexican restaurant in the area that tastes amazing and is consistent. The only thing I wish they did different is that for the cheese enchiladas and the refried beans I wish they used the queso fresco cheese I believe that's what it's called) rather then shredded cheese they use. But in any case I recommend this restaurant to everyone!!!!
My wife grew up in so cal and i am a cheesehead that spent my service time in san diego where i fell in love with the places like robertos and the other awesome stands. This place is a favorite of ours. If you dont like this, you must think taco bell or taco johns is authentic?Great food and worth the trip
Born and raised in San Diego, 7 miles from the border. Los Victor's carne asada burritos are every bit as good as Roberto's in SD, and their taquitos beat them all. Delicious and authentic I may have cried a little.
