Bidra med feedbackHad cheesecurds and a couple drinks. The beer tender has worked there for a long time and was very nice and handled the customers well. Clean place and pleasant atmosphere. Gotta go again... soon. Offers a nice menu.
My wife and her friend each ordered the Brew House Sampler. It has onion rings, mozzarella sticks, shrimp, mushrooms, jalapeño poppers, and chicken strips. What came was two giant orders of French fries, 2 small mozzarella sticks, 3 small burnt onionrings, fried unseasoned mushrooms, and limp unseasoned fried broccoli. No shrimp, no chicken, no jalapeño poppers. When thiswas addressed with the server she said they had recently switched to a different prepackaged mix. We had to repeatedly ask forthe samplers to be removed from the bill. In addition to the food debacle, the service was glacial. It took 45 minutes to bringout the samplers even though there were 4 other people in the bar. No one ever came to refill our drinks, and no one bothered toapologize for the food issue. This was the worst experience I?ve had at a bar in Wisconsin.
We ordered the Smokehouse burger, the pulled pork sandwich, and nachos. Although the nachos were supposed to come with chicken, they were served with beef instead, which was quite disappointing and tasted like it came from a can. The chips were cold, and the cheese had a similar canned flavor. The burger was decent, but it was definitely better than the pulled pork. The coleslaw didn’t taste fresh and was not enjoyable. Our meal for three people, along with two drinks, came to around $85, and we felt it wasn’t worth it. On a positive note, the decor was nice.
The food was absolutely amazing! The wait staff was very friendly, and the outdoor seating area offers a stunning view of the river.
This restaurant is a fantastic dining spot if you’re out boating on the river. This was my second time visiting, and I was impressed again. My burger was large and cooked to perfection, while my husband thoroughly enjoyed his prime rib. I opted for sweet potato fries, but I don't think they were worth the upgrade; they seemed freshly made, but my friend's regular fries looked much more appetizing. Our waitress was new, but she was both friendly and efficient. I love the outdoor seating area. My only complaint was that the 12 oz. fountain drinks (like Diet Coke and iced tea) were priced at $3.50 each with no free refills. I get that costs have gone up, but that felt a bit excessive.
