The Crooked Billet - Stevenage

First time the crooked billet came here with my father because of a quiet drink and we have exactly that. very quiet, peaceful and the bar staff are also very nice. this will be definitiw my pub of choice for the future!

Monday and Tuesday it closes early and there is no food, but very friendly staff. I don't know if times change in the summer months. Beautiful village pub, good atmosphere. Worth visiting.

We decided for the first time for this pub. we started with a meal 3 curs the steak pee is delicious through all the conten we had to start the baked garlic mushrooms and I had a banana pee for pudding that was beautiful. and drinks that were really cheap. we drove the evening with about 8 playing by pool only 3 of which I won!. it was not too busy, but this made it a much more pleasant evening eating was great! we had a great evening and will define it again. the best pub we were in. since living in stevenage.

The pub is beautiful. I was here a few times for a drink and light lunch. The service is often slow, but the atmosphere is usually good. There is a pool table and darts to play. There are many parking places normally and you can go outside the A1 for a beautiful country walk.

The popularity of this pub surely shows how well it is doing. As part of the Green King franchise, it is nothing out of the ordinary, but the staff are friendly and food is good. There is a good atmosphere inside the pub which makes you feel welcome and relaxed. We enjoyed declicous 8oz rump steaks, burgers and a kids meal all reasonably priced and well cooked. In fact it's been a long time since I had a steak this tender.
