Very quick delivery. Very wide menu and choice. Phone call from restaurant to make sure of what I ordered. Absolutely delicious food on arrival. Very happy and have eaten in restaurant which was equally good
I ordered from their website, they never delivered but have taken my money. Refusing to refund telling me to contact their website developers… Had to report them, don’t trust them as manager rude.
We visited the Mohan for a meal in March 2022, having not been there for a number of years. The food was generally ok but the service was somewhat confusing with an older gentleman wandering around sort of taking orders and mumbling to himself but then a younger chap also taking orders too. The interior is also pretty tatty and nothing like when we had previously been when it had a rather unusual and slightly quaint interior with Indian shaped booths over the tables. That has long gone and the cheap refurbishment that must have been done in more recent years is now quickly showing it’s age. Reasonable food but ambiance generally poor.
So when you order a meal from the Mohan restaurant and they forget to bring one of the dishes you have ordered. Then you phone and explain and they say it is your own fault you didn’t order it even though you have the email with the order. They then realise they are talking about a difference address even though they have never asked you for your address. They say they will send it but then It’s suggested that maybe it should be taken off the bill as it their fault. Money refunded and check it is being delivered. The answer was no as it has been cancelled. When we said we still needed the meal [we had company) and would pay for it the restaurant said no we are not going to deliver it. It is such a shame this used to be such a wonderful restaurant but this is the second time we have had a bad experience recently. Once in the restaurant and now delivery. Just to add insult to injury they have actually charged us for the missing dish again rather than refunding. So we have paid twice for a meal we haven’t had. Anyone know of a good Indian restaurant we won’t be using the Mohan again which is a shame as we have used it for years and years.
