Bidra med feedbackDelicious Carribean food. A long wait, but well worth it. I had Jerk chicken, which was actually very dry roast chicken with some jerk sauce poured on. Presentation was great, the meat, as I say was pretty dry but the service other than the wait was good. It is great considering it's pub food.
Fab food and freshly cooked so be prepared to wait but worth it! Food has a Caribbean twist, so a little different EG Sunday Roast the chicken has a Jerk coating...yummy! Nice selection of beers and wines. Tip: If u work in Stevenage go here for lunch as no crowds. Can be busy at weekends as usually have a themed night....but good fun and a nice atmosphere.
I visited this restaurant for the first time today and it was the best carvery I've ever had! The meat was real and cooked to perfection, unlike the dry rolled meat you often find at other well-known carvery places. Everything was moist, the roast potatoes were spot on, and there was plenty of food to help ourselves to. We plan to treat ourselves here at least once a month from now on. I'm also eager to try some of the Jamaican dishes, which sound delicious. At some point, we’ll make the trip across the city in a taxi to experience the evening offerings since they sound so appealing. The atmosphere is really pleasant, with a charming blend of an old pub and Jamaican flair. The owner took the time to chat with the guests, and the staff all seemed happy and cheerful.
Absolutely delicious carvery with a Caribbean twist! There’s an excellent selection of meats and vegetables, along with delightful extras like handballs, Yorkshire puddings, rice, and more. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be visiting again soon!
I just had a delicious chicken curry. The service was fantastic, and the food was wonderful. The pub was comfortable and clean. If you're looking for Caribbean cuisine, you definitely have to give this place a try!
