Sterling Ice Cream

Great hot dog plate. Although prices have risen over the years, which is not. Always a family favorite to stop for a foot-long hot dog plate with onion rings and fries. Follow this with some ice cream and it is perfect for a summer afternoon.

Best roasted mussels. We come from New Hampshire for their fried mussels, fries and onion rings. We have tried many places on the North Shore of MA and even the special Clam places CANNOT BEAT the Sterling Ice Cream Bar for quality and consistency. Can't wait until they open for the 2010 season.

Great place! We stopped here after a warm day on Davis Farmland. This was a perfect “end” to our day tour. We didn't have to wait to be served even though there were so many flavors of ice, it took a few minutes to find out what we wanted! The staff was super friendly and accommodating for our children. The ice was very good, as well as decent portion sizes. We could park and sit on some benches in the shade. It was very nice! We don't get so much out, we'd stop there in a heartbeat!

Delicious fried scallops and some of the best onion rings I've ever had! Easily baked, crunchy, not oily.

Just ordered takeout Seafood food platter and was the best I have had in a long time...I'm totally impressed with the whole meal...no need for tarter in the haddock, everything fresh and flavorful and perfect amount of crunchy breading, not too much or too little...and the onion rings are still top notch. Thanks and look forward to my next visit!!
