Miyama - Sterling

Now THAT is a great sushi experience at an affordable price! Will definitely be back, since I can have lunch here for about the same price as grocery store sushi.

I don't like it when Miyama Changed the tempura see food combination, much smaller pieces!

Sushi is really good, serves is nice , love to sit at the bar. Very quiet which is a plus.

I had high hopes, but ended up very disappointed. I ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi and fried shrimp dumplings. The dumplings were very disappointing, and did not at all appear like what was in the photo online. Not only were they super tiny, they also did not have a lot of flavor. The steak that came with the hibachi was super dry, and lacked flavor, along with the rice. I at least hoped for tender steak and lots of veggies, but unfortunately I didn't get either. The staff however were super friendly.

A favorite of mine for an early or a late lunch-the value can't be beat! The sushi at Miyama is the standard by which I rate any other. The lunch special at $9.95 for 2 rolls or the $12.95 bento box that includes soup and salad are great value for a light but filling lunch. Because the restaurant is right up the street from my home I'm a regular and always warmly greeted and taken well care of by the owners. Note: they close for an hour or two between lunch and dinnertime.
