Chocksett Innorporated - Sterling

Very poor maintenance and no proper housekeeping even requested for housekeeping keeping not given. Very bad stinky smell in hallways and so much sound in air conditioners. A lot of itching and rashes on skin may be bugs in bed, even request in reception no response. For everything no response manager not in property. Bad place for stay I give -be rating. Very bad.

Great event venue for weddings, receptions and parties. Also has a nice patio and gardens, plenty of parking.Rooms: Rooms were very clean and quiet, spacious living room/bedroom.

Went to Chocksett on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. The food was 5 Star!The cauliflower steak was superb! What a creative dish! We would make this place a destination just for that!Our meals were done to perfection!!!Very clean, friendly staff and great atmosphere.I Highly recommend giving this restaurant a visit!!We’re adding it to our “go again” list.

Unfortunately I really wasn't a fan of this place. I attended a wedding reception here, and the place was definitely neat, clean, and well setup. However, the food was another story, we had a squash stuffed chicken dinner, and the sides were mashed potatoes, and vegetables. I'm sorry to say that the chicken was over cooked and very dry, and the potatoes were also strangely dry with little seasonings, but it still tasted good. I just wasn't impressed with the food myself, and I was a guest at the wedding reception, those are usually who you want to impress most. There was a seafood option but I didn't have any, so I can't comment on that. The service was OK at best, and the same for the food unfortunately. I wished they had a side of gravy for the chicken and potatoes, but there wasn't. If it weren't so dried out, I most likely wouldn't have cared about a gravy. Having given the bad news, the salad, and bread were definitely wonderful, but that's about it unfortunately. I don't know if the food was from the inn, or a hired caterer. That's why I would only use this as a point of reference, but if it was a catering service, then the inn did a great job themselves.

Very clean rooms. Good location. Staff was great. Ate in hotel restaurant and they were great there too and food was awesome.Rooms: 5/5
