Osteria Romana Main St. - Stepney

We've driven past this place a million times and said we have to go there and finally did, it was delightful from start to finish, craft cocktails were unique and delicious, our dishes were excellent with generous portions, made to order and piping hot when served..now that might seem unique but this day in age it's not common to get all dishes hot off the line, and the service was friendly and very tight, we never had to wait or want for anything like extra ice on the side or another round of drinks etc. there is a reason the parking lot is usually full capacity, and with high end luxury vehicles, they even have a valet for peak time periods.. this is a must try if you haven't already discovered this place!

The food was exceptional. The meatball appetizer was so tender and flavorful! I also enjoyed the polenta with Gorgonzola although I expected it to be prepared differently going by the description. The mushroom risotto was extremely flavorful as well. I added breaded chicken on top but the meal by itself would have been enough. The portions are huge. We really got a bang for our buck.

Service and quality were excellent. We were greeted with complimentary champagne because it was our anniversary. Dessert plate was nicely decorated to wish us happy anniversary. The food was delicious. Our server was attentive and personable. They really went above and beyond with little touches to make our night special. We will return.
