Rifugio Madriccio - STELVIO

The view of the mountain is fantastic from this place. The problem is that because of its location is overcrowded. Food not too impressed, but I guess you don’t go there for the food Restaurant is clean but be ready for a long wait; however is worth the visit

Great moments spent on the Pisten with best Ski Slagger selection Traditional ski drinks like Williams eye liqueur and for the ladies a hot chocolate with rum Sun bathing and a wonderful view to the Ortler

Nice place. Somewhat cold ouitside during our stay as it is located on aprox. 2800 meters if i'm correct. Very busy but sufficient seating. Good food also. Next to the bar and restaurant outside there is a glass iglo with round bar and seats functioning as the typical italian Tirol party spot! Smokers allowed.

In Europe this ski area and restaurant belong to the ones on pleasant and breathtaking height with magistral views. Food and drinks are top at normal prices.

After a nice trip we sit in the hütte and order cakes and coffee . Sun is brighting in 7C temperature , cakes coffees are delicious , nice environment . Wonderful . Incredible silence
