The wine and chocolate pairing is a MUST! An amazing experience. We were welcomed by our server leader Andrew, who was excellent service and knowledge. Make sure you get a tour before you go. I would recommend HIGHLY that you try to visit this winery!!!

Waterford always had a special place in my heart, as it is so beautiful and her wines are also delicious, and I am glad to say that they have only improved since my last visit. This time I took my wife for my birthday to SALT Waterford and I can honestly say that my mind was blown. Firstly, the restaurant makes the perfect use of the picturesque courtyard with all the tables so positioned that you have a beautiful view of it. You can't taste their wines when you visit, so we decided to taste while we enjoyed our lunch. You have different tasting options available, but we chose one with a variety of wine styles including 3 wines with handmade chocolates. Our lunch in SALT was just as brilliant and a must for everyone. Everything we had was beautifully presented and super delicious! Standout dishes for us were the swordfish, Hantam Rack of Lamb and the Grilled Beef Rib Eye, but you can't go wrong with which dish you decide. Something I also liked was to taste the different salts on the table for you, as well as enjoy with your food. Our waiter, Greg, was amazing to welcome us at the door to be overall very friendly and attentive during our wine tasting and lunch, with his knowledge of the different wines the cherry at the top. My wife and I just want to make a massive thanks to Chef Beau du Toit and his entire team for our experience in SALT Waterford so special and unforgettable.

Nice wine tour to the top of the property! To sip on excellent wine and chocolates! The property is beautiful, the cellar tour is very informative and the cathedral is stunning! Definitely one to turn off when you are in the area!

Everything is 5 star about this luxury wine estate starting from their entrance to every small detail on their plates. Their smooth and easy drinking Rose-Mary was my favourite wine, however, their Chenin and Sauvignon Blanc are great wines too. Our waiter was knowledgeable on all their wines and willing to accommodate all of our needs. A MUST visit for anybody wishing to enjoy upscale cuisine and wines in a beautiful setting!
