This restaurant has been a family lover for over 50 years. we love their steam hot dogs and excellent poutins with extra cheese. the restaurant is always packed with customers, but the speed of their ordering and getting their food is...I would highly recommend this almost food restaurant for anyone interested in a good fast meal.

The staff at this restaurant was very rude, which overshadowed anything else about the business. Their disrespectful behavior left a lasting negative impression. The food was mediocre at best, and a quick Google search will reveal many better restaurants in Laval. Save yourself the hassle and choose a different dining option.

Best family restaurant in laval, many options on the menu each is delicious. submarine, pizza, lasagna, hamburger etc.

I've been to gérard in the last few years. every time we were greeted by unpleasant employees. it's so rude that I don't even remember how it was eating. we feel unwilling. last Saturday we had another bad experience and I decided it was over for us. we'll never go again. the same as always, they come in and they feel as if they are annoying, the workers who take their order, just because they think what they could get. we go there because there is a playground for children who are not older than seven years. Now, the cook makes his duty to keep this quite tight. our children were thrown out from the playground 5 seconds after boarding, because one of them was 8! as he spoke to them, was out of this world. rude and rude! we have not paid or taken our order and we have gone somewhere else. when they go there on the playground of the child, make sure they bring their birth certificate so they can have fun!

This restaurant is the top spot for poutines, hot dogs, and fries in this area! However, we weren't big fans of the burgers as they seemed to lack meat and toppings. The dining areas are always clean thanks to a diligent janitor who regularly washes the tables and floors. Additionally, there is an indoor playroom for kids and a lovely private park in the summer complete with picnic areas and fun games for children of all ages. The place is always spotless so you won't have to worry about encountering any pigeons or seagulls. It's been a local favorite for over 30 years!
