Bidra med feedbackAfter a great morning exploring the Cave filled with other-worldly formations, we emerged famished. Our local guide took us to this quaint local restorante. The courses were plentiful and full of flavor! We started with the house anti pasta which was more than cheeses and meats... were were served small baked vegetable tarts, bruschetta and little fried bread balls along with a nice assortment of salumi and cheese. The primi piatti pasta was the best I’ve eaten so far this month. I had the tagliatelle with fava bean purée. It was creamy and spicy and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Vino Bianco Della Casa was fresh and light... A delightful lunch on the covered terrace overlooking a beautiful lush green valley. Couldn’t ask for a better experience!
We passed through Levigliani during a day trip around the Alpe Apuane and stopped by for lunch. The restaurant features a terrace with splendid views of the mountains and the coastline, and we were guided to a nice table upon arrival. Food was absolutely delicious. For starters, we shared a plentiful platter of mixed antipasti which were followed by pasta for primi. Both the ravioli al ragu and the maccharoni al funghi porcini were, of course, homemade and tasted excellent. We followed up with perfectly grilled tagliata (beef steak) and salad for secondi. Unfortunately, this left no room to sample the homemade tiramisu. Service was attentive and friendly all throughout, despite our very limited command of the Italian language. Highly recommended!
We ate here last year with our italian friends and loved it so returned this year but on our own with very few words of Italian between us This did not matter we were treated like honoured guests with superb table on terrace overlooking the mountains.. The food was beautiful plentiful and . The service was good and friendly. Very good value for money. Totally authentic. Cannot wait to go again especially for the Antipasti which was creative and bursting with flavour.
Excellent, taken appetizer, sliced saws, fried polenta, jams of cheese to, pairing, fried porcini mushrooms I do not tell you from tagliatelle to mushrooms. spend more than honest, advice and hope to return
