La Esperanza - Stayton

Very confused walking in there...reviews made it sound like you could order food but it's just a market when you walk inside and a place to order food is not clearly advertised inside- just seemed very odd...? I would recommend advertising at the counter if you can order food to go. Really wanted to try something other than Muchas in Stayton that is quick and convenient- Susie's Taqueria was closed and said to be open per their website (my first option) so bummer Mexican food night in all around

Really liked the food, staff very helpful and polite. However, it's a little tight in the store if you're in a wheelchair. I was able to get in and out okay, but it did take extra care. Tamales are AWESOME, and they give a price break if you buy in quantity. I'll definitely be back.

The staff is always super friendly and helpful and the food is fresh and delicious

One of my favorite authentic restaurant is around and very friendly. A must to stop and eat!
