Comfort Inn Goldfields - STAWELL

Country restaurants don't come much better than this. The atmosphere is peaceful and charming, the menu varied and the service very good. Best of all, the food is prepared by a very fine chef (the motel proprietor maybe?) and is quite outstanding.

Wow! The staff at this restaurant were incredibly accommodating. We had a delicious 2-course meal that was cooked to perfection. The scallops and steak were so tender and flavorful. They even played our wedding song when we entered the restaurant! All of the food is sourced from local suppliers and the chef, Leonie, truly turns her cooking into an art form. The waitress provided excellent service and couldn't do enough for us. Overall, it was a fantastic evening. I highly recommend this establishment. Thank you all for a wonderful evening.

We came here because every other place in Halls Gap was fully booked. We were delighted to find that they were able to accommodate our group of 14 by seating us in front of a warm, inviting wood fire. The service was top-notch, and the staff were welcoming towards the multiple children in our group. Although we waited around 30-40 minutes for our meals, they were definitely worth it. Everything from the beef cheek to the venison pie, chicken schnitzels, and pork belly was delicious.

I recently dined at this restaurant with friends and family and was impressed by the extensive menu options. I ultimately chose the steak, which was cooked to perfection and topped with a delicious mushroom sauce. The winter vegetables and seasoned spiral fries served as sides were a delightful addition to the meal. Overall, I had a fantastic dining experience at this establishment.

Our group of 4 ate here last weekend and were treated to a beautiful meal. The range of entrees and mains has something for everyone, with some different dishes to try.Wait staff are friendly and efficient and sitting by the wood fire heater on a cold winter night was fantastic.Would thoroughly recommend the dessert tasting plate to share, all desserts are homemade and scrumptious.Treat yourself and your family/friends with a meal here, you will not regret it.
