Beaver House - Statesboro

Fantastic meal and atmosphere, just like being at my Grandmother's house many, many years ago. The owner and staff were very friendly. Our stop wasn't planned but it was one of the highlights of our trip. Well worth our 15 minute drive off the interstate!

Beautiful old restored mansion that serves great food 'southern style. ' They put fried chicken, ham, mac and cheese, butter beans, deviled eggs and lots of other goodies in bowls on the table, you pass around the bowls and everyone digs in!

I was fortunate enough to dine with my daughter and my wife and her best friend as we were dropping her off to school at Georgia Southern we were sitting in a very nice table in the front of the house with a nice view are young waitresses very nice and very polite and very Timely the food was excellent I enjoyed the day core of the house it was not too cluttered but certainly retain its all historic look can't wait to go back here their prices are also very reasonable a A+ dining experience.

Best restaurant in the south. I worked there almost the entire time I was in college. I miss this place. Can anyone share the pea salad recipe Miss Sue used to make??
